JANUARY 24th-30th FARM HOUSE BREAKFAST WEEK

Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day - 81% of us think so and 40% of those eat it standing up!

A national campaign, Farmhouse Breakfast Week aims to highlight the nutritional value of breakfast as part of a healthy balanced diet and for us to enjoy the delicious flavours our region has to offer!

5 good reasons for eating breakfast

It will make you more alert

You will be able to concentrate better

You will be less likely to snack

Breakfast is an important source of vitamins, minerals and fibre

Its a time to sit down as a family

Did you know that just one serving of milk on your muesli provides around half your recommended daily intake?

Go to work on an egg - they're packed with goodies.  In the UK we eat a phenomenal 27 million eggs every day!  One third are eaten for breakfast! 

Add a glass of apple juice as part of your 5 a day!

5TH MAY working with Easton College and hosting a conference about farm shop visits for teachers and farmers

SATURDAY 22nd MAY - our SPRING FOOD FAYRE - come and meet our producers and suppliers - lots of activities for children - fun for all the family........we'll keep you posted!
