A national campaign, Farmhouse Breakfast Week aims to highlight the nutritional value of breakfast as part of a healthy balanced diet and for us to enjoy the delicious flavours our region has to offer!

5th MAY working with Easton College and FACE hosting a conference about farm shop visits for teachers and farmers at HFG Farm Shop. Learn more about how to go about hosting a visit, activity ideas, CEVAS training, how to work with early years children and secondary/college students. Paul Tavener, Deputy Head of Acle High School will also be joining us to share his experiences.

WEDNESDAY 9TH JUNE Judy and Nick will be visiting Catton Grove School to talk to two Year 3 classes about healthy eating, food and farming. This ties in with their topic for the term - food and farming and their theme of the week which is Norfolk.

THURS 7th OCTOBER-SUNDAY 10th OCTOBER - FAIR FOOD - a weekend of events at Norwich Cathedral exploring trade justice both global and local. We will have a big display there and the weekend will end with the Royal Norfolk Show's annual Harvest Festival....pop in if you can!
TUES 12th & WEDS 13th OCTOBER 170 Year 3 and 4 children form FALCON JUNIOR SCHOOL in Sprowston are visiting us. They will be finding out about pumpkins, making some cress men, walking around our field to see the veg growing, learning about pest control, healthy eating and taking part in a quiz around the farm shop - all part of their annual food festival activities.
THURS 12TH NOVEMBER Judy and Nick went into Woodland View Junior School in Spixworth to talk to the Year 3 children about healthy eating, the importance of eating breakfast, growing and farming. We had a great time and feedback was good.
